
During my sophomore year I was still rowing for the LMU crew team. For our CAD final project we were given the freedom to choose any five parts to model and create an assembly. I wanted to challenge myself for the project to learn more about CAD and suggested to my partner we model a Hudson single boat. The five parts we chose were the hull, rigger, seat, foot board, and oar lock. I specifically worked on the models and drawings for the hull, seat, and foot board.
The deliverable for the project was a report that outlined the purpose of each part, assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and GD&T calculations for each interface in the assembly. The report is linked below.
